Staff Report –

The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who is wanted for an alleged assault on federal law enforcement officers during the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 in Washington, D.C.

The FBI released new photos of this individual on Thursday in its efforts to identify him, according to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

The suspect is described as a white male who is approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall, and weighs approximately 225 pounds, with a stocky build. He has white hair, brown eyes, and is estimated to be in his mid-to-late 50s.

He is pictured wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Berkshire Nautilus” logo, which is a local health club in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

“We are working very closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to identify those who attempted to use violence and destruction to intimidate, coerce, or affect the conduct of our government,” said Joseph R. Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of the FBI Boston Division.

“We are asking the public to take a close look at these photos and to reach out to us if you know who this man is. We believe he was involved in a violent assault on federal officers and no amount of information is too small or irrelevant.”

Anyone with information about the identity of this individual should call 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov to submit information. Please reference #141—the assault on federal officer photo number—when calling or submitting information online.

Additional photos and videos of other individuals sought in connection with the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol can be found at fbi.gov/capitolviolence.
