JONESBORO, Ark. – One of the great things about traveling to new places and meeting new people is finding out about the history and cultural of a place.
On the campaign trail with Rodney Govens on Thursday speaking at a Voter Education event on Disability Rights in Arkansas at the E. Boone Watson Community Center, we ran into Roger McKinney, the curator of the African American Culture Center, winner of the Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Tourism Program of the Year for 2024, and the 2024 Community Service Award from the Craighead County Branch of the NNACP.
